At IMPACT Community Services' Material Recycling Hub based in Bundaberg, Queensland, we're dedicated to environmental sustainability and community enhancement. Processing approximately 130 tonnes of recyclables each week, our facility significantly contributes to waste reduction. We also provide meaningful employment opportunities, particularly for individuals with disabilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace. Our efforts not only help preserve our environment but also empower our employees through skill development and training.

Our Container Collection Points at Qunaba and Enterprise Drive are not just recycling hubs; they're gateways to empowering employment pathways for the most vulnerable in our community. This initiative supports those with mental health issues, survivors of domestic and family violence, the long-term unemployed, individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, and older residents. By engaging in meaningful work, these individuals contribute to environmental sustainability while gaining valuable skills and experiences, fostering a more inclusive and supportive community.
