The Recycling & Collections Manager role is an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage the Recycling and Collections facility at IMPACT Community Services. This position involves the coordination of functions and supervision of staff, ensuring the business operates sustainably while exploring new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include maintaining workplace health and safety standards, managing stock and quality control, and liaising with Bundaberg Regional Council and other stakeholders.
We are looking for a Manager Recycling & Collections to join our leadership team. Our facility processes about 600 tonnes of recyclable waste weekly. All of the waste from Bundaberg Regional Council's yellow-top bins is hand-sorted by staff with moderate disabilities, baled and sold for creating new product. We also operate 2 Container Refund Point centres, the Bundaberg Drummuster program which recycles chemical containers from the agricultural industry, plus transport and process recyclable product from local organisations.
